MY MAGAZINE COVER.

While in my Journalism 202 course, I had the chance to create a magazine cover of myself. There were specific instructions to follow for this magazine cover. On the left hand side of this page you can see my first magazine work ever. After meeting with my professor, Vicki Kreher, we went over the first one and made some good changes for my final magazine cover on the right hand side.

My first infographic

This was the first time I heard the word "infographic". One of my assignments for my Journalism 202 course was to create an infographic. Thanks to the help of my teacher I was able to learn what an infographic is and how to create one. Also, I learned that there are many other websites that help create an infographic. For my case, I decided to use the website "Piktochart". My infographic was about trending social media platforms and where to best place your ads. I did some research and put all of the data on my infographic. I made sure it was a readable font, size, and color. As I was making this infographic I did run into a couple of problems but I feel like that happened because it was my first time working on an infographic. I got inspired to do this topic/theme because of my major, Journalism specialized in Advertising and Intr. Marketing. I hope to do more interesting infographics in the future.

My LINKEDIN

I have had my LinkedIn since I was in high school. I never knew how important it was to make sure my LinkedIn was a professional business-like profile. until college. I have made some great changes on my account. Please check it out and connect!

Creative Common Assignment JRNL 202

In this assignment, it gave me a chance to work with Adobe Photoshop and how to work with rights reserved images. This opportunity was really helpful for future references to make sure that I in the future don't copyright anything.

On the left-hand side, there is the original photo that I found on Flickr when I searched up lollipops. It was just a simple lollipop and I decided to put filters on it. On the right-hand side, I used Adobe Photoshop to add some filters and some designs. I did not crop the image because I like the size of it. Also, I played with the lightning and shadows to bring out different effects. I feel like I accomplished an aa "boujee" lollipop and how I feel society works. You put a brand on something and the product goes from $0.25 to $25.00.
